WorkAbility 1

 

 “The Sky’s the Limit”! Nothing can stop these students. Not even their disabilities.

   The Mission of Aldar Academy WorkAbility 1 program is to provide all our eligible students with an opportunity to participate, regardless of race, culture background or disability.

   We start the program with Career and Interest Assessments. Through out the school year the students receive Vocational classes and services geared toward creating and filling out Applications, Portfolios, Career Research Inventories, Job skills Questionaires, How to keep a job, College tours, Transition/Career Fairs, and many other useful informative strategies.

  When the students prove themselves ready they are eligible to work off campus during school hours to learn on the job skills or R.O.P. Both are paid positions.

  This has been a very successful program for our students.
