Aldar Academy

Aldar Academy was established in 1975 as a private, non-profit, non-public school. We specialize in meeting the needs of handicapped students with severe learning, emotional and /behavioral problems. Aldar Academy provides individualized services as identified in the IEP (Individual Educational Program).  Aldar Academy serves the needs of students ages 4-22, grades K-12.  Aldar is certified by the California State Department of Education and a WASC Accredited school able to graduate students with a High School Diploma.
 

In December 2003, Aldar Academy received high commendations from the California State Department of Education and is considered to be one of the best Non-Public Schools ( NPS)  in Northern California.

successful transitions."

 Aldar Academy admits students of any race, color, creed, sex, national origin, and disability. Aldar Academy is certified to serve students from four through twenty-two years of age.

REMINDER FOR STAFF:   Our in-service training begins on 8/25/2010 at 9:AM.  Please make sure that you arrive ON TIME to in-service.   FOR DRIVERS...please DO NOT bring the vans on 8/25/10 but DO BRING THE VANS on 8/26/10 so that the vehicles may be inspected, cleaned (inside and out) and any repairs/maintainence can be brought to the attention of administration (Transportation Supervisor) immediately so that we are ready to go for our students on 8/30/10.  Again, please DO NOT be late.  Also, be sure to dress so that we can demonstrate our physical management techniques for our annual certificates.

Some things everyone should know for this year:

There are to be NO backpacks unless previous arranged and agreed to by the parent AND our school Principal.

 Please call and let us know when your child will not be attending school.  If you know that your child has an appointment or previous engagement please call our front office AND the van driver to let them know.  Please remember to get a note from wherever your child has gone so they may still be eligable for our perfect attendance Pizza party or Ice Cream social!
