This campus-wide event (formerly referred to as Preview Day) takes place from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Registration opens at 12:30pm.
Future Hornet Day is designed especially for prospective undergraduates and their families. You can tour the campus, meet with many of our dedicated faculty, and attend information sessions on admissions, housing, financial aid, and more. Meet and mingle with some of Sac State's finest throughout the day - students, staff, faculty, alumni, and friends.
Highlights
- Enjoy guided tours of the campus, see and hear first-hand about some of our dynamic facilities and programs from current Sac State students
- Take part in fun activities—food, games, and more
- Learn more about what it takes to get into Sac State and the admissions process
- See our new housing suites, and meet the staff

Be sure to come by the registration table in the Main Quad (look for the giant "Herky") when you arrive and pick up your welcome packet, which includes special Future Hornet discount coupons for use at campus merchants to help you make the most of your Sac State visit.

Stay and Catch the Hornet Buzz
Plan to stay and enjoy watching the Sac State Hornet Football Team play in our Homecoming Game. Kick-off is at 6:05pm. Homecoming always brings out the Sac State Spirit crowd with lots of festivities, music, food and fun for the whole family. Homecoming festivities begin around 3:00pm and continue thru game time - featuring live music, a kid zone, and parade led by Herky, the dance team, and the marching band.
