Thank you

A special "thank you" to all of the wonderful volunteers that braved the cold weather to help our school this past weekend.  Your help was truly appreciated and what a wonderful gift you have all bestowed upon us.

Almost 100 volunteers came out to spend the better part of their day (some as early as 7AM!) to help donate to our school. We have enjoyed the fruits of their labors with new painted doors, walls, cleaned lights, gutters, new fencing, new downspouts, bulbs, and last but certainly not least for a wonderful job cleaning and organizing our compassion room and school!

THANK YOU to those of you who helped and volunteered your time and efforts so that we might enjoy a more comfortable place!

School is back in session

Classes for students resumed AUGUST 30, 2011.  If you (or your child) have any needs that have not been addressed please contact your child's teacher, therapist, or the front office staff.  Please direct all calls through the main office at 916-485-968 and your phone call will be returned promptly.

Please also rememeber the school rules in regards to cell phones, backpacks, electronic devices, and dress code.

If your child takes medication at school please be sure that your authorization forms and CURRENT prescription bottles are turned into the front office.  NO MEDICATIONS MAY BE ADMINISTERED WITHOUT THE PROPER DOCUMENTATION IN PLACE.

Tdap aka

Governor Brown has signed into law SB 614 allowing schools to extend the Tdap (Whooping Cough) vaccination deadline for up to 30 days.  The Tdap vaccine is required for ALL 7th through 12th graders.

If your child has not already received their Whooping Cough immunization, please make an appointment ASAP to have it done.  The law is clear, "Students will face exclusion from classes if they have not met the vaccine requirement..."

New Playground Equipment

Be sure to stop by and check out all the new playground equipment at Aldar.

A lot has changed on campus this year and we have been fortunate to be able to supply our students with many play structure additions that will help them engage in successful social and cooperative interactions.

We look forward to all the joyous smiles and laughter that this equipment will bring.

School Holiday

Be sure to check the school calendar for the February 18th SCHOOL HOLIDAY.

Students will be picked up at their normal time on Tuesday February 19th.

Welcome Back

Well, the long Winter Break is finally over and we are looking forward to working with all of your wonderful children.  We look forward to the warm environment of smiling faces and children's laughter on our playground and throughout our buildings and classrooms.  Please be sure to take time and see our new playground structure for all of our children 12 years of age and younger.  Also be sure to keep a close eye out for the new physical fitness course that will be coming soon also.

Creekside Church

A special thank you should go out to all the wonderful volunteers that braved the cold weather to help out the Aldar Academy school December 8, 2007.

Roughly 150 volunteers came out to spend the better part of their morning (some as early as 7AM!) and into their afternoon to help donate to our school. We have enjoyed the fruits of their labors with new painted doors, walls, cleaned lights, gutters, new fencing, new downspouts, bulbs, a wonderful job cleaning and organizing our compassion room, and so much more!

THANK YOU to those of you who helped and volunteered your time and efforts so that we might enjoy a more comfortable place!
