Aldar Academy has a food program set up for our families. Twice a week Trader Joe’s donates food and once a week Safeway donates to us. We also receive donations from our own employees. The donations include toiletries, non-perishables, baked goods, fruits and vegetables, and meat.
When a family calls in need, we send boxes home with the student. Most of the time the families do not have transportation to come to our school to shop.
Along with the food program, we supply clothing for our families when needed. Our employees and friends of Aldar donate the clothes.
